Every call ends somewhere you can see: a booking, a message for you, or a question answered. Jordan's, Leo's and Quinn's are our real test calls. How call data is handled

Set it up after the last cut.

  1. Create your shop

It starts with a barbershop menu, prices and hours, all yours to edit.

  2. Add your barbers

Employees, booth renters or both. Each signs in from an invite.

  3. Turn on your booktender

Choose when it answers, its voice, and what it may do.

Coming from another app? The first 25 Calgary shops get a free switch-over: we move your clients, services, team and future bookings for you. And nobody is locked in: your data downloads in one file, any time.

Your dataSettings · Billing

Everything the shop holds, as one file (JSON) you can keep: its locations, team, services, clients and their numbers, appointments and sales. It downloads while the shop is paused too.

Closed. Still answering.

After hours your booktender keeps booking, and every call is waiting in the log by morning.

Last questions.

More on prices and plans on the pricing page, or write to us.

Can I keep my shop's number?

Yes. Your booktender has its own line, and you choose how calls reach it: forward the calls you don't answer (and after-hours calls) from your number, or move your number over so every call reaches it first and rings the shop when your settings say so.

Shop phone numbers connect at launch. Today the booktender answers in our test console and in scripted test calls against a sample shop.

What happens when the AI minutes run out?

Calls ring your shop as usual. If you'd rather keep the booktender answering, turn on auto-refill: it adds a 100-minute pack for CA$15 when you need one. Plan minutes reset each month; pack minutes roll over for 12 months.

Is there a contract?

No. Pay monthly, or yearly with 2 months free. Cancel in the app whenever you like; it takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for.

Who owns our data, and can we take it with us?

You do. Download all of it (clients and their numbers, appointments, sales and payments, team, services and locations) from Settings at any time, including while a shop is paused.

Do callers know they're talking to an AI?

Yes. Every call opens with: “Thanks for calling {your shop}, this is {its name}, the shop's AI assistant. Calls are transcribed to help with bookings. How can I help?” The AI-assistant line can't be switched off.

You decide whether calls are transcribed. With transcription off, no transcript is kept; the log keeps the outcome, the booking and a short summary.

Is it available in French, or outside Alberta?

Not yet. Booktender is in English and built for Alberta shops first, starting in Calgary. It isn't offered in Quebec.

Open tomorrow with last night's bookings.

14-day trial with 100 AI minutes and 500 texts, no card needed. When the trial ends you pick a plan. If you don't, the shop goes read-only for 7 days, then pauses with its data kept.
